AUBURN, Ala.- One lane of Wrights Mill Road between Virginia Avenue and Dumas Drive will be closed this afternoon, Jan. 31, as crews make an emergency repair to a sewer main. Work is expected to take place between 3:30 and 11 p.m.

Traffic control measures will be in place to help motorists navigate around the closure. Brief, intermittent lane closures are expected tomorrow, Feb. 1, as crews restore the roadway.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and to take alternate routes to avoid delays. The City of Auburn thanks the public for their patience as we repair this critical infrastructure.
