Auburn Police make two arrests for trafficking in stolen identities and possession of marijuana second degree

Auburn, Ala. - On Dec. 14, 2022 Auburn Police arrested Quintella Quinshay Wigfall, age 26, and Kerry Oshay Hawthorne, age 24, both from Montgomery, AL on warrants charging each with trafficking in stolen identities and possession of marijuana second degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police conducting a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of North College Street on Dec. 14. Wigfall and Hawthorne were occupying the vehicle, and during the stop police recovered illegal narcotics and multiple items associated with identity theft.

After further investigation, Wigfall and Hawthorne were both arrested for charges associated with the narcotics and identity theft. All of the items containing identifying information were associated with victims outside of the Auburn area.

Both Wigfall and Hawthorne were transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $31,000 bond.
