AUBURN, Ala.- The Gay Street Parking Lot will be closed Friday and Saturday, Dec. 2 and 3, for the Downtown Merchants Association's Downtown Holiday Market. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 3.

The lot will close at 5 p.m. on Friday and reopen after the event is over on Saturday. All cars must be removed from the lot before it closes on Friday. Any vehicles left in the lot overnight will be subject to towing.

The north entrance to the Gay Street Lot will remain open during the Holiday Market, allowing drivers to park on the ground floor of the Municipal Parking Deck and the Tichenor Avenue Parking Lot. Additional public parking is available along downtown streets and in the Wright Street Parking Deck.
