UPDATE: Man arrested for burglary third degree, theft of property first degree

UPDATE, Nov. 23, 2022 - On Nov. 22, 2022 Auburn Police arrested Reco Montrell Adams, age 47, from Auburn, AL on a felony warrant for theft of property first degree.

During the ongoing investigation of the business burglary that occurred on Nov. 14, Reco Montrell Adams was developed as a suspect that was also involved in the crime.  A warrant for Adams’ arrest was obtained, and he was arrested on Nov. 22.

Adams was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $5000 bond.

Nov. 22, 2022 - Auburn, Ala. - On Nov. 18, 2022 Auburn Police arrested Gerald Sebastion Trimble, age 58, from Auburn, AL on felony warrants for burglary third degree and theft of property first degree.

The arrests stem from Auburn Police responding to a call reporting a burglary at a business located in the 200 block of West Glenn Avenue. Personnel associated with the business reported that on Nov. 14, 2022, a suspect made forced entry into the business and stole property from inside.

Trimble was developed as a suspect, and after further investigation, he was identified as the suspect that committed the burglary and theft.

Trimble was arrested on Nov. 18, transported to the Lee County Jail and held on an $8,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
