Tuskegee man arrested for receiving stolen property second degree

AUBURN, Ala.- On Oct. 22, 2022, Auburn Police, arrested Marcus Savon Wilson, age 41, from Tuskegee, on felony warrants charging him two counts of receiving stolen property second degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a call in reference to menacing. A victim reported that a suspect made threats while armed with a handgun near the 400 block of Webster Road.

The suspect, identified as Marcus Savon Wilson, was contacted by Auburn Police after the crime was reported. During the investigation, two firearms were recovered that were confirmed to be stolen through other police jurisdictions.

Wilson was charged with two counts of receiving stolen property second degree and transported to the Lee County Jail. Wilson was held on a $6,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
