October 27 2022

UPDATE, Oct. 27: During the post-arrest investigation, Auburn Police learned that Koby Kevon Clarke had prior arrests and was out on bond for felony sexual assault charges that occurred in another state. Additionally, Clarke was required to wear an ankle monitor as a result of the out of state bond conditions. The Auburn Police Department did not receive notification regarding Clarke’s bond or monitor status prior to his arrest on Oct. 6, 2022.

With the additional information, further highlighting that Clarke was a danger to the public, Auburn Police, with assistance from the Lee County District Attorney’s Office, initiated a bond review, resulting in Clarke being held with no bond at the Lee County Detention Center.
