UPDATE, Oct. 10: Alabama Power will continue work on College Street between Shug Jordan Parkway and Longleaf Drive this week. Minimal traffic impacts are expected.

Sept. 30: AUBURN, Ala.- Alabama Power will be installing fiber along Shug Jordan Parkway between Wire Road and College Street and along College Street between Shug Jordan Parkway and Longleaf Drive beginning Monday, Oct. 3. Work is expected to finish by Thursday, Oct. 6.

Minimal traffic impacts are expected during this work, but motorists are advised to use caution in the area and watch for crews working alongside the roadway and vehicles entering streets.
