Auburn Police arrest Indiana woman on multiple felony warrants

AUBURN, Ala. - On Sept. 24, 2022, Auburn Police arrested Felicia Denise Jones, age 40, from Indianapolis, Indiana, on felony warrants charging her with two counts of unlawfully breaking and entering into a motor vehicle, two counts of fraudulent use of a credit/debit card, theft of property first degree, theft of property second degree and theft of property third degree.
The arrest stems from Auburn Police responding to a call reporting an auto theft that occurred in the 500 block of West Magnolia Avenue on Sept. 24. A victim reported that an unknown suspect stole a vehicle and the property contents inside the vehicle.
Felicia Denise Jones was developed as a suspect, and when she was located by Auburn Police, the stolen vehicle was recovered in the vicinity. Additional stolen property was recovered, linking Jones to auto burglaries and thefts that occurred in the 500 block of West Magnolia Avenue and the 400 block of Heisman Drive.
After further investigation, Jones was arrested and charged with the offenses associated with the thefts and auto burglaries. Jones was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on an $18,500 bond.
All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
