UPDATE: Rainbow City man arrested on theft charges

AUBURN, Ala.- On July 18, 2022, Auburn Police arrested Koby Blake Ramsey, age 24, from Rainbow City, Alabama, on warrants charging him with burglary third degree and theft of property fourth degree.

The arrest stems from Auburn Police receiving a burglary report on June 13, 2022. Officers met with an employee of a facility located in the 400 block of South Dean Road who reported that unlawful entry was made into a building and property was stolen. Koby Blake Ramsey was developed as a suspect and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained.

Auburn Police made contact with Ramsey on July 18, 2022, and he was arrested in obedience to the warrants. Ramsey was transported to the Lee County Jail and held on a $4,000 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

UPDATE, Aug. 1 - On July 31, 2022, Auburn Police arrested Alissa Glen Brown, age 23, from Birmingham, on warrants charging her with burglary third degree and theft of property fourth degree.

Brown was developed as a suspect in the previously referenced burglary and theft, and after further investigation, arrest warrants were obtained. Brown was arrested in obedience to the warrants in another police jurisdiction and taken to the St. Clair County Jail.

Auburn Police transported her from St. Clair County to the Auburn Police Department. Brown was additionally charged with failure to appear associated with an unrelated case, booked into the Lee County Jail and held on $4,500 bond.

All defendants are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
