Aug. 1: The traffic signal at the intersection of East Samford Avenue and Payne Street will return to normal operation on Sunday, Aug. 7, as Auburn City Schools prepares to start the school year on Aug. 9.

June 6: AUBURN, Ala.- The traffic signal at the intersection of East Samford Avenue and Payne Street will go into flash operation on Tuesday, June 7, while Auburn City Schools are out of session. The signal will flash yellow on Samford Avenue and red on Payne Street. Traffic on Samford Avenue will not have to stop, but traffic on Payne Street should stop before turning onto Samford Avenue.

Motorists are advised to exercise caution as the community adjusts to this change.
