June 30: UPDATE- The sidewalk closure on Gay Street in front of the new Publix location is expected to continue through the end of July as the contractor finishes landscaping work. Pedestrians are advised to continue using caution in the area and to use the sidewalk along the east side of Gay Street.

May 10: AUBURN, Ala.- The sidewalk in front of the new Publix location on Gay Street between Magnolia and Thach avenues is expected to close May 11-June 30. The mid-block crosswalk will also be closed during this time.

Pedestrians may continue to use the sidewalk along the east side of Gay Street and the crosswalks at Magnolia and Thach avenues.
