AUBURN, Ala.- More than 8,300 voters turned out for the 2018 Municipal Runoff Election, and the unofficial results have been tallied. Ron Anders, Jr. has been unofficially named the next mayor of Auburn.

The following winners will take office on Nov. 5, pending official canvassing of the results on Tuesday, Oct. 16:

Mayor: 
Ron Anders, Jr. earned 4522 votes. 
David B. Hill earned 3822 votes.

Ward 2: 
Kelley Griswold earned 1089 votes.
Todd D. Scholl earned 623 votes.

Ward 4: 
Jim Ryan earned 241 votes.
Brett Smith earned 420 votes.

Ward 5: 
Steven Dixon earned 1137 votes.
Walter M. Northcutt earned 779 votes.

Ward 6: 
Sarah Brown earned 424 votes.
Bob Parsons earned 437 votes.
